Avec les prochaines évolutions du reporting des transactions MiFIR par l’ESMA, 2025 s’annonce comme une nouvelle année clé pour les entreprises. Kaizen and LSEG Post Trade are delighted to invite you to join us for ‘Regulatory Reporting 2025 – Strategic Insight into EMIR and MiFIR’ on Thursday 13 March in Paris.

Last year, firms faced an unprecedented amount of regulatory reporting change with multiple Rewrites and Refits.  And, with ESMA’s upcoming changes to MiFIR transaction reporting, 2025 is going to be another busy year for firms. With that in mind, we look forward to welcoming industry peers for an engaging afternoon of knowledge sharing and networking.

Hosted at the prestigious private members Automobile Club de France on the Place de la Concorde, the afternoon will begin with welcome refreshments followed by a keynote from the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF), panel debates and presentations by industry experts. 

During the afternoon, we will:

  • Provide an update on the current regulatory reporting landscape including the expectations of the AMF on Data Quality in 2025
  • Share feedback on last year’s EMIR Refit go live including data quality results from Kaizen’s assurance testing
  • Give an update on recent developments in the MiFIR transaction reporting space
  • Answer your questions.

Michel Degryse, Head of Data Driven Supervision, Autorité des Marchés Financiers

Michel Degryse

Michel Degryse joined the Autorité des Marchés Financiers in 2012 within the Market Infrastructures Division as Senior Officer and became head of Data Driven Supervision in 2021 within the Market intermediaries and Market infrastructures supervision directorate.

Michel graduated from ESCP Europe with an Executive MBA and also holds two specialized Masters, one in finance, accounting, auditing and a second in banking and financial markets. Before joining the AMF, Michel held various positions within the banking sector related to market activities.

Michel a rejoint l'Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) en 2012 au sein de la Division des Infrastructures de Marché en tant que Senior Officer, puis est devenu responsable de la Supervision Data Driven en 2021, au sein de la Direction de la Supervision des Intermédiaires de Marché et des Infrastructures de Marché.

Michel est diplômé de l'ESCP Europe avec un Executive MBA et détient également deux Masters spécialisés, l'un en finance, comptabilité et audit, et l'autre en banque et marchés financiers. Avant de rejoindre l'AMF, il a occupé divers postes dans le secteur bancaire en lien avec les activités de marchés.

Suzanne Calcagno, Global Head of Regulatory Response and Oversight, HSBC

Suzanne is responsible for providing regulatory subject matter expertise and advice to both the CTB and RTB functions with respect to the implementation and execution of new and amended global regulations. Her team performs effectiveness assessments of the firms’ compliance with reporting requirements in EMEA, APAC and North America, including contributing to the design and implementation of preventative and detective data quality controls.

John Graham, Senior Director of Regulation, FIA

John is Senior Director of Regulation at FIA, the leading global trade organization for futures, options and centrally cleared derivative markets. Since joining FIA in November 2018, John has managed FIA’s Compliance Committee and various Regulatory Reporting Working Groups, leading FIA’s engagement with regulators and policymakers on a host of topics, including trade surveillance, EMIR/EMIR Refit and MiFID II/MiFIR.

James Hardie, Product Director, Regulatory Reporting, LSEG Post Trade

James started his regulatory career with Commerzbank, holding a variety of roles involved with regulatory reporting, providing the bank with regulatory knowledge in EMIR, MMSR, MAS and MiFID II regulations, to name but a few. Since 2017, James has operated as Product Director at LSEG's regulatory reporting business which is responsible for the UK and EU EMIR Trade repository. James provides product direction and development of the Trade Repositories and leads the drive to incorporate EMIR Refit changes into the infrastructure of the LSEG Post Trade repositories.

Emma Kalliomaki, Managing Director, ANNA and Derivatives Service Bureau

Emma Kalliomaki is a Managing Director of ANNA as well as the Managing Director of the Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB), an organisation originally founded by ANNA, working in collaboration with the industry as the fully automated global generator of ISINs, CFIs, FISNs and UPIs for Over the Counter (OTC) derivatives.

Emma leads the work of ANNA and the DSB boards in delivering on their mandates to develop and implement international standards that foster market transparency, stability and efficiency, and help organisations meet regulatory requirements. Emma is a sought-after industry speaker and a leading industry commentator, spearheading collaborative work programmes with regulators, market participants and infrastructure service providers.

Emma has 20 years of experience in financial data, standards and regulation. Prior to ANNA and the DSB, Emma spent more than a decade working at the London Stock Exchange Group, where she was head of the London Stock Exchange’s reference data operations which included the launch of their Legal Entity Identifier solution and leading ISO standardisation related activities.

Emma also represents ANNA as a liaison organisation to ISO TC68 (Financial Services) and SC8 (Reference data for financial services) and is an appointed member of the UK Transforming Data Collection Industry Standards Data Committee, which is a joint initiative of the Bank of England and FCA.

Ben Shenkin, Director, ALPHA FMC

Ben is a Director in Alpha’s Regulatory Compliance and Risk practice and leads Alpha’s Global Regulatory Reporting proposition. Ben has managed numerous Regulatory Reporting projects for global asset and wealth managers covering operating model strategy and re-design, vendor selection, regulatory change implementation and large-scale remediation and back-reporting exercises.

Ciaran Scollan, Senior Product Manager, LSEG Regulatory Reporting

Ciaran is a Senior Product Manager within LSEG’s Regulatory Reporting business working across EMIR and MiFIR reporting products. With 20 years of Derivative Operations experience, Ciaran joined LSEG from the buy-side where he developed subject matter expertise across multiple regulatory reporting regimes.

Matthew Vincent, Managing Director, Kaizen

Matthew is a foremost expert in regulatory reporting with almost 30 years’ experience in finance, including more than 10 years’ experience working in regulatory reporting functions at tier 1 banks.

He joins Kaizen as Managing Director, working within the client facing team as a subject matter expert on MiFIR.

Prior to joining Kaizen, Matthew spent three years at the London Stock Exchange – UnaVista where he was the director of regulatory reporting strategy. This included providing MiFIR reporting subject matter expertise to clients in the UK and EU. Matthew was also Head of MiFID Regulatory Reporting at Credit Suisse for five years, and previously worked for Barclays Investment Bank in the operational compliance team advising on MiFIR transaction and EMIR reporting. He also worked at Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.

Matthew chaired the UK Finance Transaction Reporting Working Group for over ten years.
